MoreArt Public Arts Festival 2017

Coburg/Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia

This is a public work that was positioned along the Upfield train line/bike trail, Coburg between Anstey and Moreland stations. It acts as both a monument to human engineering and as a memorial to the dead and threatened reefs of our planet.

T I M E L A P S E D brings into visible site the immediate effects that human-driven climate change is having on global reef systems and more locally, The Great Barrier Reef north of Port Douglas, Qld, Australia.

This work was made possible by the monetary support of Moreland City Council and was placed upon the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
